We are proud of our history! Christian Sittler was a four-time Austrian light welterweight champion at the 21st Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976. He was Austria’s most successful Olympic boxer after the Second World War.
After his great sporting career, Christian married his wife Eva Kolnhofer from THE most successful Prater showman family. The Kolnhofers were already THE Prater family around the 1920s. Christian Sittler then became a Prater original himself. For example, Sittler established our cult carousel, the Tagada.
THE NEW GENERATION
Thomas Sittler-Schaaf has been running the business with his hard-working and prudent team since 2004. We stand for modern development! In addition to the traditional cult rides, Austria’s first virtual reality ghost train, “The Clown”, was established in the Prater. In addition, the Magic Rotor whirls the brave visitors through the Prater sky with its centrifugal forces!
